我這幾天都開這一條路上來滑雪耶~~
我應該找一天騎腳踏車來才對~~

======
The signs that will adorn the Kristin Armstrong Bikeway were unveiled by Mayor David Bieter this evening at a dedication event at Highlands Elementary.

The signs were designed by Trademark Sign Co., a local sign and design firm that was awarded the contract to design the iconic image. The signs will be installed along the bikeway in the days following the dedication.

Following the dedication and unveiling, Kristin and Mayor Bieter led a police-escorted community bike ride to the downtown YMCA where a reception was held in Kristen's honor. The reception also included a ceremony marking Kristen's induction into the Idaho Hall of Fame.

In November 2009 Mayor Bieter proposed that the eight-mile stretch of Bogus Basin Road used by gold medal cyclist Kristin Armstrong to train for the 2008 Beijing Olympics be designated as the "Kristin Armstrong Bikeway" in honor of her achievements. This secondary bikeway designation, which will not change the name of Bogus Basin Road, will run from Curling Road to the Ada County line, or about half of the distance to the ski resort above Boise. Armstrong chose Bogus Basin Road for her training because its steady climb mimicked the rise on the Beijing course.
